Following the initial meeting with the Havant Tree Wardens held on October 15th, 2018, the Havant Civic Society Committee will now look at the viability of a ‘project’ to refresh the existing Town Trail, including a new guide to the trees of significant interest.
Our first thought is that the project should combine the existing Havant Heritage Trail with the new ‘Tree Trail’, extending the boundary to include such sites as the town cemeteries in Eastern Road, including the Dissenter’s Cemetery in New Lane, and area rich in well established trees.
