For those concerned about the growing impact of Amazon traffic on the town centre residential streets, please note that there will be a public meeting on Friday 19 April at 7:30pm at St Alban’s Church Hall on Bartons Road.

There will be updates from the HCS Chair, a resident member of the Amazon DPO1 Community Liaison Panel (CLP), and from the St Faith’s council members of the CLP.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an update on the concerns which have already been raised via the Havant Civic Society’s ‘Amazon DPO1 – Report a resident’s complaint‘ website page and to hear your own views as local residents. While much of the impact is currently being felt by West Leigh residents, significant numbers of delivery vans, together with HGVs and an increasing volume of private cars used for Amazon Flex deliveries are now heading south of the site through the New Lane Crossing to the A27 at Warblington, or through Eastern Road to the Civic Plaza roundabout.
You may have seen the following card already, hand delivered by the Havant Labour group as part of their current canvassing. If not, then here it is!
