In the current series of Great British Railway Journeys, Michael Portillo visits Havant, for a program which preserves for posterity the sight of Havant Station’s soon-to-be-replaced footbridge.
HCS were delighted to see that the presenter and his team spent much of their time in Havant at The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre in East Street.

Don’t Forget!
We have an open public meeting coming up on Monday 25 March at St Faith’s Church in central Havant at 7:00pm. If you’re interested in what’s proposed for the Bulbeck Road multi-storey carpark, or what Portsmouth Water’s plans for the Bosmere Medical Centre are, or just in how the planning system works, this might be for you.
