The Southleigh Link Road meeting at Warblington School on 24 June demonstrated that the HBC Leader, the Cabinet Lead for Regeneration & Communities and the Hampshire County Council Cabinet Lead for Highways seem unwilling to take an active role in ensuring residents are protected from the potentially severe traffic issues that would result from a failure to provide the necessary road infrastructure.
Given the closure of the ‘Warblington and Denvilles‘ residents association, HCS is offering to facilitate the coordination of a Southleigh community campaign by offering to build and manage a wider area mailing list specific to that cause. It may well be that disparate local campaign efforts have already started, in which case, please use the form to tell us – we’ll help to join them up.
